Launch Pad has a special invitation for art lovers who reside in the Crown Heights area.
LaunchPad is now happy to present the Mod Melange travelling art show for a two week exhibit, beginning this Saturday. Curiosities include projected film installations, three-dimensional things in boxes, outdoor murals, sumptuous paintings, and jams by DJ Carrie Whitenoise.
Opening Reception
Saturday, June 26th from 6pm to 11pm
Featured Artists:
Amy Spain, Beau Stanton, Charles Ly, Christian Little, Daniel Lyons, Kid Zoom, Megan Finnegan, Ofelia Marquez, Tiffany England, Wesley Wingo.
We'll have food, drinks, music, and fun. And great art, of course!
Exhibit will be open daily until Sunday, July 11th. Please contact LaunchPad for specific hours.
As we say hello to the Mod Melange exhibit, we thank the Crown Heights Oral History Project for the beautiful stories and photographs that recently hung on our walls. The oral histories were captured by Alex Kelly and 5 high school students, the portraits were captured by Cheney Orr. Check out the reviews:
